My Thoughts & Work....

The demolition of the Savitribai Phule #Pune University & E-Square Flyovers began today. As your representative it is my responsibly to be the watchdog for the people, to ensure that the assurances on timelines and safety protocols given by the State and the PMRDA are strictly adhered to.
Visited the SP #Pune University Flyover today with PMRDA Comm. Suhas Diwase ji, Addl. CP Traffic Dr.Sanjay Shinde ji, ACP Traffic Surendra Deshmukh ji, PMRDA Metropolitan Planner Vivek Kharwadkar ji, Contractor in-charge &@OfficialPMRDA & @PuneCityTraffic Police officials.
Administration has assured me that taking advantage of State enforced #Lockdown the demolition will be completed in 2 weeks. Am hopeful that with proper co-ordination between departments the deconstruction phase should cause min chaos & inconvenience to local residents & commuters. I have offered to be an intermediary to help resolve issues of co-ordination between contractor and govt departments if they arise, and prevent any delay and thus ensure the demolition takes place in the assured time frame of 2 weeks.
I assure my fellow citizens that I will be monitoring every step till completion of new flyovers. Taking advice & inputs from experts & residents am confident that together we can ensure the Govt builds infrastructure that is an effective solution for the next 50 years.

विद्यापीठ आणि ई-स्क्वेअर चौक दरम्यानचे उड्डाणपूल पाडण्याच्या कामाला आज (मंगळवार) सकाळपासून सुरुवात झाली. या ठिकाणी भेट दिली आणि पीएमआरडीएचे आयुक्त सुहास दिवसे, अतिरिक्त पोलीस आयुक्त(वाहतूक) डॉ.संजय शिंदे, सहाय्यक आयुक्त(वाहतूक) सुंद्रेंद्र देशमुख, मुख्य अभियंता विवेक खरवडकर, पीएमआरडीएचे अधिकारी, पुणे महापालिकेचे अधिकारी आणि वाहतूक पोलीस अधिकारी यांच्याशी चर्चा केली.
पूल पाडण्याचे काम पंधरा दिवसातही पूर्ण करण्याचा प्रयत्न आहे. पाडण्याच्या कामात संबंधित विविध खात्यांमध्ये समन्वय रहावा यासाठी समिती नेमण्यात आली असून पूल पाडण्याची कार्यवाही होईपर्यंत या कामाचा दैनंदिन आढावा मी घेणार आहे.
उड्डाणपूल पाडण्याचे काम सुनियोजित आणि वेळेत होण्यासाठी संबंधित सर्व खात्यांच्या अधिकारी आणि ठेकेदारांमध्ये समन्वय रहायला हवा, समन्वय ठेवण्यात काही समस्या येत असतील तर मला सांगा. माझ्यापरीने समस्यांचे निराकरण करण्याचा प्रयत्न राहील. आपल्यात समन्वय चांगला असेल तर मुदतीतच हे काम होऊ शकेल असे मी उपस्थित अधिकार्यांना सांगितले आहे.

उड्डाणपूल पाडून नवीन बांधकाम होईपर्यंत त्याचा पाठपुरावा मी सातत्याने करणार आहे. नवीन काम होताना त्यात कोणताही दोष राहू नये आणि वाहनचालकांना त्रास होऊ नये याकडे माझा कटाक्ष राहील.
