Made an unplanned visit to the Savitribai Phule #Pune University Chowk to review and gather feedback from citizens and police personnel on the concerns & issues caused due to the diversions,new traffic patterns and construction work currently underway in place of the now demolished flyovers.

PSI Parage overseeing he university junction & entire road till shivajinagar has highlighted need to increase heights of traffic signals, realign the barricades for smoother traffic flow & repaint zebra crossings for pedestrian safety. I will soon meeting the concerned authorities and urging them to expedite these requests.

सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठ चौकाला आज अनियोजित भेट दिली आणि विघटित उड्डाणपुलांच्या जागी सध्या सुरू असलेल्या बांधकाम कामांमुळे आणि वाहतुकीचे नवीन प्रवाह मुळे उद्भवलेल्या चिंता व अडचणी यावर नागरिक व पोलिसांशी विस्तृत चर्चा केली.

विद्यापीठ चौक ते शिवाजीनगर या संपूर्ण रस्त्यावर देखरेख ठेवणार्‍या पी.एस.आय पार्गे यांनी सांगितल्या प्रमाणे सिग्नलची उंची वाढविणे, वाहतुकीच्या सुरळीत प्रवाहासाठी बॅरिकेड्स पुन्हा नीट लावणे आणि पादचारी सुरक्षेसाठी झेब्रा क्रॉसिंग पुन्हा रंगविणे ह्या सर्व सूचना मी लौकरच अधिकाऱ्यांना भेटून देणार आहे आणि मला आशा आहे कि सर्व कामे लगेच मार्गी लागतील.
