PRS Legislative research national workshop

Had the privilege to attend the PRS Legislative Research two-day National Workshop on ‘State Finances’ at the Indian Institute of Public Administration campus in Delhi on January 20 & 21.
Conducted by experts and eminent speakers, the workshop helped deepen my knowledge and gain an in-depth understanding of Budgets & State Finances from the State of the Economy, GST, Local Self Government financing, State of State Finances, Fund Transfers to States and also provided a great forum to engage with officials, academic experts, and fellow legislators from across the country.

Speakers at the workshop included: Shri. Rajiv Kumar (Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog), Dr.Vinod Vyasulu (Vice Dean, Jindal School of Government & Policy), Pinaki Chakraborty (Professor, NIPFP & Economic Advisor to 14th Finance Commission), S.B. Singh, former Add’l. Commissioner of Commercial Tax in Madhya Pradesh, Prof. N.R.Bhanumurthy,V.N. Alok (Faculty, IIPA & 5th Delhi Finance Commission Member) and others

२० आणि २१ जानेवारी रोजी दिल्ली येथील भारतीय लोक प्रशासन संस्था कॅम्पस ‘राज्याचे वित्त’ या विषयावर PRS विधान संशोधना तर्फे आयोजित दोन दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय कार्यशाळेत भाग घेण्याचे सौभाग्य लाभले.

तज्ञ आणि प्रख्यात वक्तांनी घेण्यात आलेल्या या केलेल्या कार्यशाळे मुळे माझ्या ध्यानात अधिक भर पडली आणि अर्थव्यवस्था, जीएसटी, स्थानिक स्वराज्यीय अर्थसहाय्य, राज्य अर्थसंकल्प, राज्ये आणि इतर राज्यांना निधी हस्तांतरण यांची सखोल माहिती प्राप्त झाली. .
या कार्यशाळेद्वारे देशभरातील अधिकारी, शैक्षणिक तज्ज्ञ आणि सहकारी आमदारांशी चर्चा करण्यासाठी मला एक उत्तम मंच प्रदान केला गेला.

श्री. राजीव कुमार (उपाध्यक्ष, नीती आयोग), विनोद व्यासुलू (कुलगुरू जींदल स्कूल ऑफ गव्हर्नमेंट अँड पॉलिसी), पिनाकी चक्रवर्ती (प्राध्यापक, एनआयपीएफपी आणि १४ व्या वित्त आयोगाचे आर्थिक सल्लागार), सुदीपतो मुंडले (सदस्य, १४ व्या वित्त आयोग), व्ही.एन. आलोक (प्राध्यापक, आयआयपीए आणि ५ व्य दिल्ली वित्त आयोग सदस्य) यांच्या समेत अनेक वक्त्यांनी कार्यशाळेत भाग घेतला.
