TRAGEDY IN A VILLAGE CALLED MALIN

July 30, 2014

A place so beautiful , A place so close to heaven I must add , it’s hard to believe till I reached the spot that something as tragic as this had actually taken place .
Mother Nature and her fury on these innocent villagers is unjustifiable . The houses all buried 40 feet below is a horrific site to imagine n actually see . And for no rhyme or reason no fault of theirs whatsoever .. My heart n mind both at crossroads as in to accept a natural disaster as this . Going to the place personally made me realise how we take everything around us for granted . Imagine the rescue forces working 24 hrs , trying to dig mud ,but very carefully in fear of not hurting any possible living human by the JCB on one hand and also the concern that going so slow might diminish the chances of living of many more who might be struggling to breathe every passing hour.
Our honourable Minister for home Shri Rajnath Singh did announce a package of Rs 2 lakh as a addition to what the State Chief minister has announced .
Also the rescue operations are at their best in the most trying circumstances .
But a life gone cannot be compensated ever .
Some incidences in life make you wonder about the mystery in life that surrounds us .
My heart goes out to the Tragedy of Malin .
