March 17, 2021आज सकाळी अतिरिक्त म.न.पा आयुक्त सुरेश जगताप जी आणि औंध प्रभाग अधिकारी जयदीप पवार जी यांच्यासमवेत औंध, बोपोडी आणि खडकी येथे सुरूअसलेल्या जलपर्णीचा हटविण्याच्या प्रगतीचा आढावा घेतला.नदीच्या काठावरील रहिवाशांना जलपर्णीचा प्रादुर्भाव अति प्रमाणात वाढल्यामुळेडासांचा उपद्रव, गंध वास यासह अनेक समस्या भेडसावत आहेत.अधिकाऱ्यांनी मला आश्वासन दिले आहे की येत्या १५ दिवसांत नद्या स्वच्छ होतील.स्थानिक नगरसेविका सुनीता वाडेकर जी, भाजपा शिवाजीनगर सरचिटणीस आनंद चाजेड जी, सोनाली भोसले, सुप्रिया खैरनार, गणेश नाईकरे, उत्तम बहिरत, सचिन वाडेकर, अनिल भिसे, सौरभ कुंडलिक, सुप्रीम चोंडे, रोहित भिसे, जय जोशी आणि म.न.पा चे इतर अधिकारी या वेळी उपस्थित होते.Today Morning reviewed the progress of the Water Hyacinth removal that’s currently underway in Aundh, Bopodi and Khadki with additional PMC Commissioner Suresh Jagptap ji and Aundh Ward Officer Jaideep Pawar ji.Residents along the river banks have been facing several problems including increase in mosquito infestation & foul odour due to the clogging caused by overgrowth of water hyacinth. The officials have assured me that they will expedite the project and clear the rivers of water hyacinth withing the next 15 days.I have also written to Hon. Environmental Minister Shri. Aditya Thackeray ji last week, who has assured that he will personally look into finding long term sustainable solutions for water hyacinth and other factors that are damaging our rivers. Local PMC Councillor Sunita Wadekar ji, General Secretary BJP Shivajinagar Anand Chajjed ji, Sonali Bhosale, Supriya Khairnar,Ganesh Naikare, Uttam Bahirat, Sachin Wadekar, Anil Bhise, Saurabh Kundalik, Supreme Chonde, Rohit Bhise, Jay Joshi and other PMC offcials were also present for the site visit.
